CREATING an outstanding educational and community HUB IN THE HEART OF THE COMMUNITY
The Foundation, with the financial support of the local community, has purchased a significant 6,000 sqm site in the heart of the community. Having been derelict and empty for over 25 years, the site has unfortunately become a breeding ground for anti-social behaviour, criminal activity, fly-tipping, and all sorts of vermin. The state of the site has not only been detrimental to the appearance of the neighbourhood but also drastically affected residents’ wellbeing.
The Foundation aims to transform the site in to a vibrant educational and community hub that will act as a catalyst for the broader regeneration of the neighbourhood, improving security, the aesthetics of the area and reducing anti-social behaviour and crime.
Our ambition is to establish an independent school on the site with out of hours facilities for children with physical disabilities and special educational needs (SEND). Also providing local residents with access to local services. Overall, the Foundation plans on transforming a once-desolate site into a thriving hub of education and community engagement, creating a better future for all residents.
The educational facility will be spread across two state-of-the-art modular buildings. These buildings will incorporate a total of 14 spacious classrooms, each equipped with the latest technology and modern amenities. Two classrooms will be designed specifically with children who have special educational needs in mind, so as to create a comfortable and conducive environment for them. Additionally, the facility will boast two well-equipped refectories and administrative offices that will cater for the needs of students and staff. The classrooms in the facility will cover a broad range of subjects, including science and IT, which will be taught in state-of-the-art laboratories.
